BIOMAG2010 fellowships and awards program aims at supporting and recognizing research excellence in the field of biomagnetism. The organizers of Biomag 2010 will be awarding a number of fellowships and prizes in recognition of the work of junior and senior scientists, and to stimulate research in new directions. *Prizes will be presented at the awards ceremonies at the Conference Dinner and prior to the Closing remarks on April 1, 2010. The winners of the Biomag2010 awards and fellowships BIOMAG2010 Fellowship and awards committee Maria Mody, Chair has defined the application criteria and will be responsible for the evaluation and selection of the fellowships and prizes. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted electronically as single pdf files (last name_fellowship.pdf, last name_YIA.pdf, last name_SWP.pdf or last name_JZP.pdf) by the indicated submission deadlines. Connectivity Challenge Award (CCA)The purpose of this award is to encourage the development and validation of innovative methodologies to study structural-functional connectivity patterns underlying human sensory and cognitive processing. This competition will serve as a first step toward this goal by creating a repository of data, to enable studies of connectivity, that will be freely accessible to all members of the biomag community. The competition is open to all, students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, research scientists. The letter should be accompanied by a short abstract describing (a) what the datasets will consist of (b) the paradigm and (c) the hypothesis (one or more) that the datasets will allow one to test.
